The Padmashree Dr. D.Y.Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai is established in Year 1989. The campus houses a medical college with 250 MBBS annual admissions and Post Graduate Courses in 22 departments in Super-specialties Courses in 5 departments The college is recognized by the Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with Padmashree Dr. D Y Patil University (Deemed), Navi Mumbai.

The campus has advanced facilities, international standards of infrastructure, Multi-discipline faculty, and a demographically varied student body, which transcends the boundaries of traditional education, providing a vibrant environment to promote fresh thinking and exchange of ideas. All the air-conditioned lecture halls are provided with modern audio-visual equipment, the libraries are well-equipped and well-stocked. The college provides hostel facilities for Boys Hostels & Girls Hostels. These hostels cater to the needs of Medical Undergraduate and Postgraduate students & also Interns.
